Dressing for the occasion is also very important according to etiquette and overdressing or stepping on the Hostess’s shoes (no pun intended) is considered rude. So when attending his family’s Fourth Of July BBQ don’t be afraid to go casual, rocking a cool and comfortable tee that is flattering to your bust type. For my girls looking to skip tradition and wanting to go for a more trendy look – incorporate pastels and/or florals. As for shoes, rock your highest platforms, your sexiest pumps, or your highest wedge in any hue! But make sure they are grass friendly, comfortable, and easy to walk in. You may not be doing much walking, but when you are, remember that all eyes may just be on you.
